Volen is one of two venues operated together with Stepanovo in the Dmitrov direction. The winter page describes 15 slopes, but its list includes training and tubing areas; this is not a count of 15 separate downhill ski pistes. One listed beginner area is 70 metres long with a conveyor lift. The operator advertises individual and group teaching, including children from three, and on-site winter rental. Confirm the meeting point at Volen rather than assuming a lesson is held at Stepanovo.
Choose the lesson area before comparing the size of a resort. Ask the operator which training slopes and lifts will run on your date, where to collect equipment and how early to arrive. These are published infrastructure descriptions, not live snow or opening reports. Prices for a past season and undated tables are identified separately; they are not a confirmed budget for winter 2026/27.
The winter site advertises individual instruction as part of the shared Volen–Stepanovo service. Specify the actual venue and meeting point. Accommodation packages containing an introductory lesson cannot establish the price of a standalone lesson; request a separate quote.
The official table separates Volen and Stepanovo access and has dated seasonal and holiday entries. Confirm the selected venue, included lifts and the moment validity begins. Access units differ across the table; a pass must not be treated as a lesson-and-equipment package.
