Children’s ski lessons in Moscow: what to ask
Age limits belong to a particular program or coach; check group level, equipment and supervision.
Use the child’s actual age and experience when contacting a school. “Lessons for children” is not an age policy. Volen–Stepanovo advertises children’s instructors from three. At Kant, the named ski profiles of Tatiana Egorova and Ekaterina Filimonova mention children from three. New League’s group program states five and above. These conditions describe particular services, not a universal minimum or a recommendation that every child should begin then.
For a first visit, ask whether the group is matched by age and ability, how many children share one instructor and where the lesson takes place. Chulkovo describes age- and level-based groups of four to six. Sorochany advertises a children’s training area, but that alone does not establish a school’s age threshold or available place.
Confirm a suitable boot size, skis or snowboard, helmet and fitting time. An obligation to wear a helmet does not make its rental free. Ask whether a parent must remain on site, how collection works, who supervises before and after the lesson and what happens if the child needs a break.
Request the complete price and cancellation rules for the child’s program. Language requirements must be confirmed for the assigned instructor. No published age condition proves that a lesson is available on your date; contact the provider directly before making the journey.
